Power of starting something Crazy.
In two days, in 48 hours, I am going to write a novel. It’s #1 on my Bucket List, and has been for a number of years. I’ve had these damned plot lines twisting through my mind about a tangled network of passionate political intrigue and dangerous manipulations for god knows how long, and I’m tired of it keeping me awake at night.
Purge! I purge you evil Plot Demon! Get out of my head, and stay the fuck out!
So I’m participating in NaNoWriMo. The National Novel Writing Month. In one month, I’m going to try and write 50,000 words of this novel and see how far I get. The idea is not to write perfection, but just to write. And write. And write!
On top of this, I’ve decided to get a training coach. Somebody who can tell me what I need to do, to achieve my goals. I decided quite early on that I didnt’ need a personal trainer, as I’m quite capable of counting reps, keeping focused and changing the weight on a bar all on my own. What I really needed was something more strategic.
Somebody who can listen to my goals, and help me turn those goals into a game plan.
So, November is going to be a busy month for me. Two Weddings, Supanova, writing a novel, starting a new training plan, and goodness knows what else I can get myself into.
Lucky I already have a holiday booked for December! 😀
