Dinner

My thanks must go to Finder451 for a lovely evening the other night. The conversation was great. Dinner was also lovely, right up to the point where Dinner decided to make an encore appearance at 12am. I managed to acquire a mild case of food poisoning from my meal, causing me to swear and curse loudly at the little bubbles of acid within my stomach.
There was a point, somewhere during the wee hours of Thursday morning, where I wished that a floating piece of space debris would fall out of the sky, through my roof, and flatten me dead. My poor old tummy couldn’t expel the toxins, so I had to bare a horrible case of “the spits” and “the burps”. Anybody who’s had “the spits” will know just how vile the sensation is. I couldnt vommit, I could only belch and spit… At one point, kneeling beside my porcelain telephone to God, I just wanted to die. I tried to wish this in a very quiet way, in case I woke up the rest of the house.
OH GOD!! KILL ME NOW!!
It took a full 24 hours to completely get out of my system - during which time I had a serious case of extreme bodily functions. If I had a scorecard, I would have given my farts a combined rating of around 9.5. My burps were out of control. Not quite as good as JK’s, but I certainly set a new PB for intensity and volume.
Finder451 - lets have dinner again soon - BUT NOT THERE!!!

Hmmm….my stomach handled it fine. You sure it was from there? Not your lunch? Food poisoning can take up to 24 hours or longer to show up (but not usually). You have my sympathy - I know how it feels 
A different place to eat may be good 
Yes the conversation was great and the books you lent me very addictive! Significant inroads have been made into the first one and it will be finished by the week end if not earlier.
When I have read them I may just watch the movie again.
