There is a new goddess in town: Kate Miller Heidke

Ok, so I know I’m not the first person to jump on this bandwagon, but I think Brisbane has another superstar on their hands. Kate Miller Heidke’s song “I just cant shake it” is terribly, terribly addictive.

I first heard this song while I was driving to work, and cackled the entire time. The song is quirky, funny, and very, very catchy. When I first heard the song, I loved it. Several hours later, still humming the tune, I knew I needed to get a copy of it.

Kate’s second album comes out later this month, but until then, go and listen to it. Tell me what you think. In the meantime, here are the lyrics (well, as best as I could do, anyway!)
