Huh? Oh shit. This scares me in so may ways.
This smacks of being the beginnings of the worlds biggest police state.
They condemn other countries of having weapons of mass destruction, of abandoning civil liberties, of making people 'disapear' into black holes (Guantanamo Bay?) yet this sounds like a case of the pot calling the kettle big, fat and black.
Some time soon, the American people are going to wake up and they're not going to recognise their own Government. Their forefathers fought for freedom and a constitution that was 'by the people for the people' that now, may no longer exist.
As an Australian citizen living in the UK, I could be forgiven for thinking that this wont affect me. However, considering that the US is the worlds largest economy, the social and financial future of the bohemoth affects everybody in the world.
I'm not overly enclined to be paranoid, but this scares the shit out of me.
