Not Sleeping, Dreaming

As for the weta stuff... I'm in two minds about the busts. I know Grant likes the idea of the figures more, simply because they're nicer to look at. Meanwhile, I'll love anything I can get my hands on!!!

I went on a rampage last week and bought:
Gandalf the Grey figure,
Theoden figure,
Theoden bust
Gollum bust,
Leglolas bust,
and a Balrog figure.

I'm probably going to put the Theoden bust on eBay, as there's no real point having the Theoden figure AND the bust. I honestly didn't think I'd win the eBay auction!!!

I took a look at that website you linked in your last email... I could go really crazy and tell you to pick up one of each... but I think Grant would have a heart-attack. Although, I know my birthday and Christmas is coming up and everybody is always asking me what I want... I might tell them to put some money towards getting some LOTR things!

I'll have to send you some money somehow, and then let you use your wise judgement! Do they only have the Arwen and Pippin busts in stock??? Did anybody tell you anywhere that might have more stock in? I know they're hard to track down... I really wish I bought them while I saw them when I was in Wellington!

Anyway, other than that, Life is going quite well. Grant's new car is travelling quite well. He traded the poor Civic in. It was costing us too much in loan repyaments and fuel costs. He was pretty sad to see 'The Bitch' drive away, but he's replaced the sporty (uncomfortable) road-racer with a luxury Renault road-cruiser, named Rio. Personally, I like Rio much better than The Bitch, simply because it's comfortable, economical, comfortable and, did I mention comfortable? It's really comfortable!!! It's like driving around in a sofa with wheels.

We really need to get sorted about these flight details. I dont think we can do 'open ended' tickets cheaply. Most of them have some ridiculous rescheduling costs. I'll speak to the girls at work and see what they can do. I think they cheapest they're going to get is around £800-£900 anyway. Christmas isn't a cheap time to travel!!! Grant and I will be able to cover that, so dont worry too much about the costs - just worry about the availability!

Anyway mum, I'd better get going. It's 12.42am, and I need to get some sleep in before I go hitting the rollercoasters in the morning!!

Oh, and if you can, try and get a few pictures of the King Kong set!! I know security is probably very tight - but the security guards probably wont beat up a little quirky breast screener brandishing a camera!!
