Disaster and Discovery. What a

Disaster and Discovery.
What a bloody scandal.
Is there no end to the injustice and inconsistencies of American politics? We were robbed, I tell you! ROBBED! Its the whole "Ice Skating Palava" all over again. If its not the Canadians getting cheated, its the Kiwis...

For some unknown reason, the bunch of spadges that call themselves the "Academy" decided to give the award for Best Picture to the wrong god damn movie!! HA! There were at least two other movies that deserved it! Moulin Rouge, and Fellowship of the Rings! But no... they just had to give it to the movie about the deranged pedophile with some minor admirable mathematical abilities! I've never heard of Nash's Law!!!

HA! I can do maths! HA! I don't abuse small children, and HA! I'm not deranged. Not all that much, anyhow. Ok, so I guess I'm not about to make a movie of my life, but if I were to invest that much time and effort into a creative project, I'd be quite honored to come a humble second to the GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!!

Not that I'm bitter or anything... But... sheeesh... what were they thinking? What type of hallucinogens are they on? I was a most disgruntled Hobbit when I found out. Ran out of explicatives to yell into the night sky.

Didn't they see the bit when Boromir fights off the Uruk Hai looking like a pincushion? Or what about the Bridge of Khazad Dum?? Frodo's single tear? Were they going to the toilet during the Nazgul Chase?? Did they choke on the popcorn, or something?

*hmph* Well, the punters sure know what is worth while. Fellowship of the Rings is now ranked 7th on the "All time Highest Grossing Films Ever, In the History of the Earth", earning a whopping $US 776,300,000. Excuse me for choking on reality, but "A Beautiful Bloody Mind" doesn't even rank in the top 200!!

.... and the most exciting news? The trailer for The Two Towers is due out any day!!! Yippee!! Go PJ! Go LOTR!

In celebration, I'm going to be presenting my own awards at a small ceremony in my garage. I don't expect anybody famous to be there, in fact, I don't expect anybody to be there... yet... I can tell you the nominees.
