Taupo
This morning I went Bungy jumping. *guh* I'm not actually afraid of heights, but I am afraid of the sudden stop at the bottom. While the Huka River was really rather scenic, I didn't fancy it being the last thing I saw before I hit the bottom of the ravine at a million miles an hour.
Didn't thing I'd have the guts to do it, but I kept telling myself that it was just a mind game. Just a mind game... just a mind game....
So, I stood up there with my 'game face' on, and jumped off a perfectly good platform into free space.
Me: 1
Mind: 0
Fuck, it was the best feeling on earth!!! I didn't scream, but had a struggle keeping my shirt from slipping up around my ears... In the end, I had to hike back up the river to get back to where my mum was recovering, after seeing her baby girl dangle by a thin elastic cord.
I didn't stop smiling for at least 3 hours.
Finally able to check my email, after Flexinet had a spack attack. I had about 63million spam mails. Enough to drive anybody to distraction. Despite this, I've tried to reply to everybody even if its been brief and to the point.

... so... sorry for those who have suffered my blunt 'efficient' manner of mass emailing.
I think we're heading for Hamilton tomorrow, near where they filmed Hobbiton. NZ isn't as Tolkien-crazy as it was this time last year, but I've still managed to collect a vast quantity of crap to take with me. Yay.
Dont know how the hell I'm going to fit it into my luggage, but that is something that I'm going to worry about LATER.
